Fibroadenomas present themselves as roundish yet firm, rubbery masses.
These may arise from excess growth of glandular or connective tissue.
They may grow to the size of a small plum, and they are benign and usually painless.

If you notice a fibroadenoma, it may bounce or move slightly when you press the area. Fibroadenomas
are very sensitive to hormonal changes. They tend to enlarge during pregnancy and shrink after menopause.
Women of any age may have them. They are usually detected in women in their 20s or 30s.
